Job summary

Mobiz IT, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to own recurring transactional accounting and reconciliations, driving the monthly close in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The role emphasizes ownership over close tasks, intercompany entries, and accurate cost allocation across departments and projects, with full documentation and control practices. Fully remote from any US state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close ownership.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition for subscription contracts.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and journal entries with full documentation in Dynamics 365 BC.
• Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, AR/AP, and prepaids.
• Prepare intercompany cross-charge entries and reconcile due-to/from balances.
