Job summary

Mobiz IT, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant for a fully remote, full-time role across the United States. You will own month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany activity, cost allocations, and monthly reporting in Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The role requires at least 4 years of accounting experience, U.S. GAAP knowledge, and hands-on BC experience. IT services background and CPA candidacy are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and revenue recognition.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post recurring close journal entries and reconciliations.
• Code entries with full dimension sets and attach supporting docs.
• Reconcile bank, credit cards, and intercompany balances monthly.
• Produce monthly P&L by department and variance analysis.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting with actuals and trends.
• Prepare sales/use tax returns and support audits.
