Job summary

Mobiz IT, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to own the recurring transactional accounting and monthly close using Dynamics 365 Business Central. This is an ownership role with responsibilities spanning journal entries, reconciliations, and intercompany processes.

You will manage multi-entity and currency considerations, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and ensure accurate reporting for management and audits. Fully remote role across the United States with direct, full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including ownership of month-end close tasks.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition for subscription and multi-period contracts.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central experience as described above.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process and post recurring journal entries.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany balances monthly.
• Prepare intercompany cross-charge entries and cost allocations.
• Reconcile aging, prepaid, accrual, and deferred revenue accounts.
• Assist budgeting and forecasting by compiling actuals and trends.
