Job summary

Mobiz IT, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage month-end close, reconciliations, and intercompany activities across multiple entities. You will code entries with full dimensional detail in Dynamics 365 Business Central and support tax/compliance tasks.

You will also analyze gross margins by customer, prepare variance analyses, and assist budgeting and forecasting, all while maintaining accuracy under deadlines in a fully remote environment serving US entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close ownership.
• 2+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central experience.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including revenue recognition for subscriptions.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close and post recurring journal entries with dimension coding.
• Perform reconciliations across bank, AR/AP, and intercompany accounts monthly.
• Prepare intercompany entries and support foreign-currency translations.
• Allocate payroll and manage cost-to-customer profitability reporting.
• Produce monthly P&L by department and conduct variance analysis (>5%).
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit documentation.
