Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience, with payroll and billing exposure.
• Experience with automated timekeeping, payroll, or accounting systems.
• Strong Excel skills for uploading and reviewing files.
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.
• California driver’s license.
• Prior office experience in a professional business environment.

Responsibilities

• Review employee timesheets and expense reports for accuracy.
• Prepare time and expense uploads in Excel for payroll.
• Set up projects in the time and expense system and ensure correct project coding.
• Review billable labor and expenses before AR entry.
• Prepare and review client invoices and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Assist with reconciliations, month-end and year-end reporting, and special projects.
