The Accountant will help maintain accurate financial records, support audit readiness, and ensure accounting activity complies with policies and government accounting practices.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably as an Accountant, General Ledger Accountant, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and full-cycle accounting processes.
• Hands-on experience with AP, GL, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and VLOOKUP.
• Experience using accounting or ERP systems.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable: review invoices, code, document, and verify approvals.
• Prepare and post journal entries while supporting GL activity.
• Perform bank and other reconciliations, resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close, with supporting schedules.
• Maintain organized financial records and support audit documentation.
• Support financial reporting and compliance with accounting policies.
