Job summary

Rehoboth Beach Country Club is hiring a Staff Accountant to join the Administration team. The role focuses on accounts payable, payroll processing, and maintaining accurate financial records while supporting budgeting, audits, and reporting. A collaborative, confidential environment is emphasized as part of the Talon Tribe culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years accounts payable and payroll processing.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable invoices with proper coding, approvals, and posting.
• Prepare vendor payments and remittances in a timely manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9s, insurance certificates, and credit applications.
• Oversee the Club's purchase order system and ensure policy compliance.
• Partner with department managers for accurate account coding and reporting.
• Assist with month-end inventory counts as needed.
• Support internal controls, policies, and compliance initiatives.
• Prepare documentation for annual audits.
• Assist with budgeting, committee reports, and special projects.
• Process weekly payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Coordinate payroll activities and maintain payroll data.
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations and deductions.
• Reconcile payroll and benefit accounts and assist with audits.
