Job summary

Holland & Knight LLP is seeking a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support partner capital accounting, reconciliations, payment processing, journal entries, and related reporting. The role focuses on maintaining accurate partner capital records, daily and monthly activity, and supporting quarterly and annual cycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of related accounting experience.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly accounting procedures: journal entries, reconciliations, and reports.
• Prepare compensation due for contractual timekeepers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting schedules.
• Assist in annual tax documents for partner capital accounts.
• Coordinate audit support and document requests.
• Suggest workflow improvements and assist system enhancements.
