Jobot is seeking a Staff Accountant for a permanent, on-site role in Grapevine, TX. The position focuses on maintaining the general ledger, supporting closings, and assisting with corporate tax compliance.

A detail-oriented background and experience with tax accounting are valued. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, and proficiency in Excel and ERP software.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP software.
• CPA certification or progress toward certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate general ledger records, prepare journal entries, account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities for timely financial reporting.
• Assist with corporate tax calculations, return preparation, supporting documentation and deadlines.
• Research tax and accounting questions, identify discrepancies, and implement solutions.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
