Job summary

Pella Windows & Doors of North Texas is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

The role requires 1–3 years of accounting experience, familiarity with GAAP, and proficiency in ERP systems such as Great Plains or Dynamics 365. Based in Grapevine, TX, you will help with month-end close, budgeting, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience in corporate or construction-related environments.
• Proficiency in Great Plains, Dynamics 365, or similar ERP.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Perform account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to support decision-making.
• Monitor and process accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support audit preparations by providing necessary documentation.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency.
