Competenze

• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.

Tarvos Talent is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant for an exciting opportunity in Austin. This onsite position with work-from-home flexibility offers the chance to join a collaborative accounting team and contribute to the financial operations of an established organization.

As the Staff Accountant, you’ll support daily accounting activities, including cash receipts, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, invoicing, and month-end close. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial records, assist with revenue reconciliations, support audit preparation, and help maintain efficient accounting processes.

The ideal candidate will bring an accounting degree and at least 2 years of related accounting experience, with nonprofit experience considered a plus. Strong Excel skills, familiarity with accounting software, and knowledge of GAAP are important, while experience with MIP is highly preferred. The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and contribute to a positive team environment will be key to success.
