Discount Tire & Service Centers is seeking a Staff Accountant in Anaheim, CA. This role supports multi-entity accounting across locations, handling general ledger, AP/AR, inventory, and close processes.

Collaboration with Controller and CFO is essential to ensure accurate financial data and strong controls. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in accounting with direct AP/AR, solid Excel skills, and experience in multi-entity environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience with direct AP and AR responsibility
• Experience across multiple entities or locations
• Strong understanding of core accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals, reconciliations)
• Solid Excel skills including pivot tables and lookup functions
• Ability to work with senior finance leadership and meet deadlines

Responsabilités

• Prepare journal entries and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and general ledger accounts monthly
• Support balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting, and audit requests
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies with other departments
• Identify inefficiencies and help design process improvements as the company scales
• Manage inventory accounting including COGS and physical count support
• Process vendor invoices end-to-end and manage AP check runs
• Manage full-cycle A/R: invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
• Reconcile A/P and A/R subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger
