GroundSystems, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support hands-on accounting while helping improve processes.

You will work closely with the VP of Administration & Accounting, lead month-end close, manage the Accounting & Office Administrator, ensure GAAP compliance, and assist with audits, budgeting, and forecasting to provide solid financial insights for decision makers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or SAP, plus Microsoft Excel.
• Analytical, organized, and detail-oriented with problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Manage the Accounting & Office Administrator.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Analyze financial data and provide useful insights to management.
• Take on other related responsibilities as business needs evolve.
