Confidential Company is seeking a Staff Accountant to apply accounting principles to prepare corporate financial reports and maintain high-integrity general ledger accounts. You will be involved in month-end and year-end balancing, reconciliations, and internal variance reporting while ensuring transactions comply with corporate policies.

Key duties include posting journal entries, reconciling ledgers, depreciation tracking, and supporting audit activities.

Formación

• 2+ years of professional accounting or corporate finance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration or equivalent.
• Aptitude for problem-solving, documentation, research and resolution, data analysis, and multi-tasking.
• Must be results-oriented and able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, contact management software, and ERP applications.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries, accrued expenses, and prepaid adjustments to ensure GAAP compliance.
• Reconcile complex bank accounts, asset ledgers, and subsidiary accounts with general ledger results.
• Conduct month-end close balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Manage fixed asset registry and track monthly depreciation.
• Assist with accounts payable checks and reconciliations prior to disbursement.
• Support tax filing schedules and sales tax evaluations.
