Job summary

Opensity Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to support the month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and budgeting. You will manage reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet accuracy, collaborating with FP&A and operations to deliver reliable numbers.

You should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, 3–5 years of experience, and solid US GAAP knowledge. Proficiency with Sage Intacct and Excel is essential; CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed vendor and client bill-back reconciliations, including investigation of variances and maintaining audit-ready documentation.
• Lead and assist with the month-end close process for timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and record journal entries in accordance with US GAAP with supporting documentation.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and clear reconciling items promptly.
• Support annual budgeting by collaborating with department heads to consolidate submissions.
• Assist with reforecasting and variance analysis to management.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve controls.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with FP&A, operations and other units as needed.
