The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2+ years of general accounting experience, with strong Excel skills and solid GAAP knowledge. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2+ years of general accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close.
• Complete balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
• Maintain accruals and prepaid accounts.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Assist with variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Support audit requests and internal controls.
• Partner with other departments to gather information and resolve issues.
• Assist with process improvements and other accounting projects.
