Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Related Field.
• 1-3 years relevant Accounting experience with strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in Poultry or Food Manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must speak/read/write English fluently with attention to detail and communication skills.
• Advanced math skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Downloads Sales and Purchases data and reconciles to inventory database.
• Create Journal Entries for Sales, Purchasing and Inventory transactions at month end.
• Balance general ledger accounts and reconcile inter-company transactions.
• Forecast monthly profit and loss and prepare metric reports.
• Analyze variances between actual and standard costs to explain P&L.
• Support data distribution and report development with spreadsheets/databases.
• Observe month end inventory counts and participate in budgeting.
