Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking an accounting professional to manage general accounting processes, including A/P, A/R, payroll and GL entries for the assigned North Carolina location. You will review vendor invoices, process payments and generate period reports.

The role requires at least two years of clerical accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, with strong communication, detail orientation and organizational skills.

• Minimum two years relevant clerical and accounts payable or accounts receivable experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform accounting, AP and AR tasks for the location and maintain vendor files.
• Review and verify payroll data; generate reports for each pay period.
• Calculate and prepare payments and enter into the system.
• Collect and analyze data; prepare relevant reports.
• Review production reports for accuracy; coordinate with operations to rectify discrepancies.
• Prepare and enter general ledger entries; reconcile discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve unmatched invoices with internal departments.
• Train or cross-train others on new policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
