Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Accounting team. The role ensures the integrity of financial statements, performs journal entries, account reconciliations, and supports reporting and audits for a multi-billion-dollar organization.

Responsibilities include month-end close, intercompany activity, ERP stewardship, and helping with ad-hoc projects while maintaining internal controls and compliance with GAAP. Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar from an accredited institution.
• CPA or CPA track highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close.
• Support corporate close activities, including intercompany and related accounts.
• Assist in financial reporting, consolidation, and variance analysis.
• Maintain chart of accounts and support ERP stewardship.
• Ad hoc projects and process improvements as needed.
