TransChicago Truck Group in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Staff Accountant to perform general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, and supporting reporting. This on-site role partners with leadership to ensure financial accuracy across the dealership.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Accounting, 2–4 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP/dealership systems (Procede/Excede, CDK).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 2–4 years of experience in general accounting; dealership or multi-entity experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and analytic/organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Accounting Leadership in ensuring all accounts are current and accurate.
• Prepare financial, statistical, and operational reports as requested.
• Participate in month-end closing, reconciling GL accounts and analyzing variances.
