East Lake Management Group in Chicago, IL seeks a Staff Accountant to support financial reporting and monthly close. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and handles general ledger tasks, journal entries, and bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial statements.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of accounting experience, with proficiency in YARDI or similar software and familiarity with Lawson.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or related field.
• Proficiency in using accounting software such as YARDI or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of Lawson.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
• Prepare bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules during the audit process.
• Familiarity with intercompany transactions a plus.
• Other duties as assigned.
