Job summary

Impact-Environmental-Group in Elgin, IL is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support the US Controller with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations and analysis. The role emphasizes accuracy, timeliness and process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business with concentration in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum of three years of practical accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTable, etc.)
• CPA (preferred) and experience with IQMS are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly accounting close process.
• Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.
• Prepare and analyze account reconciliations, including follow-up and closure of discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end audits and provide ad hoc analyses as needed.
• Coordinate with AP/AR teams to ensure proper general ledger recording.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure accurate accounting for purchases and expenses.
