Job summary

Parsec Automation, LLC (Parsec) seeks a Staff Accountant to own the order-to-cash cycle and support month-end close in a fast-growing software company. You will gain exposure to audits, controls, and cross-functional projects, with room for growth in a high-performance finance team.

This role offers a hybrid work environment and 100% company-paid health insurance. The base salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, with a variable bonus based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (corporate or public).
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process new software and services orders; ensure pricing, terms, tax and billing data are accurate.
• Generate and send invoices; manage customer billing portals; resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accounts receivable: proactive outreach, dispute resolution, escalation, and payment coordination.
• Manage accounts payable: vendor setup, bill entry, and payment scheduling.
• Prepare and post journal entries; deferrals/accruals; reclasses.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts (cash, AR, liabilities, etc.).
• Assist with financial statements, variance analysis, and budget vs. actual reporting.
• Support internal and external audits; prepare schedules and documentation.
• Maintain internal controls in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
