Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Staff Accountant for a growing Chicagoland-area technology company. The role focuses on budget preparation, journal entries, and reconciliations, with strong emphasis on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 2-4 years of experience.
• CPA or towards it.
• Would consider someone coming out of a top 10 accounting firm.
• Proficient in NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the preparation of the annual and mid-year budgets.
• Complies and analyzes financial information to prepare journal entries to the general ledger accounts and by documenting business transactions.
• Handle various account and bank reconciliations including basic month end close, receivables/payables, journal entries and special projects.
