Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Working knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and financial reporting.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and lookup functions.
• Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Motivated to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and advance professionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries while maintaining accurate financial records.
• Perform balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations.
• Support Accounts Payable functions, including vendor management, account reconciliation, and reporting.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Utilize Excel to analyze financial data and improve reporting efficiency.
• Support compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve accuracy.
• Collaborate with the finance team on additional accounting projects and initiatives.
