Addison Group is seeking a hands-on Staff Accountant to support two companies in a newly created role due to growth. The position is primarily onsite with potential for one remote day in a quiet, professional environment.

Responsibilities include AP, GL, cash application, bank reconciliations, month-end close, and assisting with audits and tax filings. Eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) benefits.

Qualifications

• Hands-on staff accounting experience with US GAAP.
• Proficiency in AP/GL, journal entries and month-end close.
• Experience supporting audits and tax filings.

Responsabilités

• Handle accounts payable and vendor communications.
• Maintain general ledger and post journal entries.
• Perform cash applications and bank reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and compliance.
• Identify process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Provide backup for AP/AR/collections as needed.
