Job summary

XRHEALTH INC in Boston seeks a hands-on Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for XR America. You will handle cash flows, accounts payable, and GL entries for a multi-entity setup, ensuring timely month-end close.

The role includes payroll via Rippling, vendor onboarding, state filings, tax reporting, and inventory/COGS for product shipments, all while collaborating with finance and operations to keep books accurate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 3–5 years of full-cycle accounting including accounts payable and month-end close.
• Experience in a multi-entity environment with clean separation of entities.
• Hands-on with purchase orders, inventory, or COGS in a product business.
• Familiarity with Ramp, Rippling, and HubSpot or ability to learn quickly.
• Strong Excel skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Cash inflows and outflows: monitor bank activity, apply receipts, and prepare payments.
• Ramp: process vendor bills, code to accounts, manage approvals and aging.
• Bank reconciliation and exception resolution for entity accounts.
• Rippling: record payroll expense and employer taxes, reconcile to GL.
• State filings and annual reports; maintain filing calendar and deadlines.
• Tax reporting: prepare workpapers, 1099s, and liaise with outside firm.
• Vendor management: onboard with W-9s, verify banking, reconcile statements.
• Headcount and payroll cost reporting by department each month.
• Month-end close: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, reconciliations.
• Product shipments: inventory/COGS, three-way PO/ship/invoice matching.
