Reporting to the Controller, this role supports day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting. Qualifications

• Experience with general ledger and cost accounting for construction operations.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office to analyze financial data.
• Experience supporting month-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger and cost accounting functions in support of construction operations.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other general ledger accounts; collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Support preparation and filing of required federal, state, and local tax forms.
• Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation.
• Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and cross-departmental workflow.
