Probst Electric Inc., a Caldwell, Idaho-based subsidiary of Quanta Services, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join the finance team. Reporting to the Controller, you will support day-to-day accounting operations including month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, contributing to accuracy and efficiency within a growing, high-performing team.

You will work with general ledger and cost accounting functions, bank reconciliations, tax form support, and process

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• JD Edwards experience is preferable but not required.
• Prior construction industry accounting experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience supporting month-end close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to pass required drug and background screening.

Responsabilités

• Perform general ledger and cost accounting functions in support of construction operations.
• Reconcile bank accounts and other general ledger accounts; collaborate with departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Support preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax forms.
• Execute month-end and year-end close activities including journal entries and accruals.
• Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and applicable regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and cross-departmental workflow.
