Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3+ years of accounting and/or finance experience in a team environment is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• CPA certification by start date is preferred.
• CMA certification by start date is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconcile balances, and produce balance sheet schedules with accuracy.
• Manage general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve exceptions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including financial analysis and closing entries.
• Partner with internal teams by providing accounting guidance, researching results, coding invoices, and answering GL questions.
• Prepare and review financial information for SEC filings, management reports, investor materials, and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with internal, external, and regulatory auditors by gathering documentation and responding to inquiries.
• Research GAAP, FASB, SEC, and banking regulations and assist with new accounting standards.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, processes, procedures, and internal controls.
