Job summary

Associated Bank seeks an Accountant to support financial accounting and reporting within the Corporate Controller’s Group. You will ensure accurate records, timely reporting, and strong internal controls while partnering across teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting/finance experience in a team environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• CPA or CMA certification by start date preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, balance sheet schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Manage general ledger accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve exceptions.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and financial analysis.
• Coordinate with auditors for documentation and inquiries.
• Research GAAP/SEC/banking regs and assist with new standards.
