Job summary

Divisions Maintenance Group seeks an experienced accounting professional to support the Accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting and robust internal controls. You will partner with staff and management across the organization to drive process improvements and efficiency.

This role emphasizes month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, tax reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to support growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, public or private.
• CPA license or CPA exam eligibility is a plus.
• Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Experience with NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process month-end close, journal entries, and G/L reconciliations; perform budget vs. actual analyses.
• Analyze financial statements at macro and micro levels; prepare accruals and deferrals.
• Assist in audit preparations.
• Develop and ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Prepare federal, state, and local sales tax reporting; manage 1099s.
• Collaborate with Finance and non-finance teams to improve processes and reporting.
• Support internal reporting and other duties as assigned.
