Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• Entry-level candidates through candidates with up to 5 years of accounting experience will be considered.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills are required.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze GAAP financial statements for multiple entities.
• Review accounts payable and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare and monitor operating expense budgets.
• Analyze budgeted versus actual financial results and identify variances.
• Prepare and post journal entries.
• Complete monthly account reconciliations.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Assist external auditors during financial audits.
• Serve as a liaison between management and operations regarding accounting and financial matters.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Manage assigned accounting responsibilities with limited supervision.
