Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Senior Accountant to advance monthly close, consolidation, and technical accounting duties in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires deep US GAAP knowledge, 3–5+ years of experience, and strong ERP proficiency. CPA/CMA preferred; public accounting background is a plus. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential for system implementations and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred; public accounting experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to interpret financial data and variances.
• Proficiency in ERP systems: NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
• Familiarity with EPM tools (Workiva, BlackLine) and data analytics is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidation and elimination.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP reports.
• Lead work papers and schedules for internal and external reporting.
• Conduct technical accounting research and liaise with auditors.
• Perform complex GL reconciliations including intercompany activity.
• Drive system implementations and data migration with finance modules.
