Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East seeks a Staff Accountant to support the CFO and Controller in maintaining financial records, including A/R and A/P, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role assists with financial reporting, balance sheets, and income statements while supporting daily accounting operations.

The candidate will prepare monthly close, provide analyses, and collaborate with team members and external parties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent) required.
• 2-3 years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience with QuickBooks highly preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail oriented.
• Flexible to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist CFO and Controller in maintaining financial records (A/R and A/P).
• Assist with financial reporting, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Support accounting department’s daily operations.
• Prepare regular financial reports and analyses.
• Assist with monthly close.
• Other duties as assigned.
