Job summary

Menno Haven in the United States seeks a detail-oriented finance professional to support the accounting team with daily tasks, including cash activity, account reconciliation, and month-end close processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 1+ year of finance experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills. CPA is desirable. We offer comprehensive benefits and a stable full-time exempt position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 1-year finance experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and chart of accounts management.
• CPA license desirable or ability to obtain CPA.

Responsibilities

• Update financial records and prepare reports to support the Finance department.
• Manage daily cash activity and reconciliation of all corporate checking accounts.
• Track and maintain prepaids and fixed asset logs, including construction in progress and project tracking.
• Reconcile corporate credit card payments and expenses.
• Process ACH receipts and payments.
• Provide support to the Finance team for timely month-end closing.
• Assist with reconciling subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger, as needed.
• Support annual and periodic audits conducted by external auditors.
