Job summary

Hörmann LLC is seeking an Accountant to prepare financial reports and monitor assets, liabilities, and profit and loss. The role supports tax filings, ledger maintenance, and monthly closes in a team-focused environment.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 3–5 years of accounting experience, and strong knowledge of GAAP along with SAP proficiency and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
• Three to five years of accounting experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Performs general accounting duties in the department.
• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and P&L statements.
• Maintains the general ledger.
• Codes invoices, sets up accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
• Reconciles bank accounts monthly and handles inquiries.
• Reconciles customer accounts and manages AR collections.
• Verifies invoices and payments to correct accounts.
• Assists auditors with required documentation.
• Files tax forms with federal, state, and local agencies.
• Coordinates with vendors to maintain accounting software.
