Manufacturing Staff Accountant Role

Staff Accountant (Entry Level)

Reports to: Vice President & Senior Management
Status: Full-time, Exempt
Location: Where spreadsheets meet supply chains

What You’ll Be Up To (AKA Responsibilities):

You’re the behind-the-scenes numbers ninja keeping things running smoothly. Your days will include:

• Tracking labor costs like a financial detective
• Wrangling import costs and container fees into neat reports
• Partnering with production and engineering to price out the impact of design changes
• Updating item costs in our MRP system
• Supporting month-end and year-end closes
• Participating in physical inventories and cycle counts
• Taking on ad hoc projects from management

What You Bring to the Table:

You’re organized, analytical, and fluent in Excel. You also:

• Speak fluent MRP (bonus points if you know Global Shop Solutions)
• Have strong communication skills — whether talking to a VP or a vendor
• Love formulas and are comfortable with Excel, Access, Word, and Outlook
• Can manage multiple deadlines effectively

Bonus Points If You Have:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred but not required)
• Experience in manufacturing environments
• Worked with engineering teams on product costing
