Responsibilities include payroll and journal entries, month-end close, reconciliations, fixed assets, tax reporting, audits, and supporting AP/AR. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least five years of accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing, and invoicing processes.
• Understanding of sales, use, fuel, and payroll tax requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enter payroll-related, intercompany, and general journal entries.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain fixed asset records and supporting documentation.
• Establish and maintain vendor records, including tax and compliance documentation.
• Prepare, file, and maintain sales, use, fuel, and payroll tax documentation.
• Assist with audits (internal and external).
• Review accounting records for completeness and compliance.
• Support AP/AR, purchasing, and invoicing functions as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and payroll information.
• Participate in improving accounting procedures and internal controls.
