LHH is partnering with a growing organization to add a Staff Accountant to its accounting team. This role offers broad exposure across close, reconciliations, and accounting operations, with opportunities to contribute to month-end processes and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 1-2 years of accounting experience; public accounting is a plus. You will work on monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and support audits and tax requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience required.
• Public accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain supporting schedules.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and research discrepancies.
• Support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis.
• Assist with audit and tax-related requests.
