Job summary

LHH is partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to contribute to core accounting functions, support financial reporting, and participate in process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments while managing multiple priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems or accounting software preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances.
• Assist with preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.
• Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
