Job description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Hayden, ID. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for performing regular accounting & bookkeeping tasks, assisting with payroll, tax return preparation and other general administration. This could work into a full time position.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation
• Proficiency in the use of accounting software including QuickBooks, data analysis tools, and spreadsheets. Ultra Tax is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in data entry
• Skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, and financial decision-making
• Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with team members
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• At least an associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (bachelor's degree preferred)
• Relevant accounting certifications CPA, EA and QuickBooks Certifications are a plus
