Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with accounts receivable, cash applications, billing, and reconciliations.
• Understanding of month-end close processes and general ledger accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.
• Experience working with accounting systems/ERPs.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a nonprofit environment preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day accounting operations including accounts receivable and cash applications.
• Handle account reconciliations and month-end close activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with accounts payable and cash management activities.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting function.
