Job summary

Hilton Waikiki Beach is seeking a Full-Time Staff Accountant – Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to join our resort team in Honolulu. You will process vendor invoices, payroll, month-end close, and ensure accuracy and compliance in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

This role supports AP accruals, payroll records, and balance sheet reconciliations while upholding Hilton’s standards of integrity and guest service.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred; high school required.
• Experience with accounting software, payroll systems, timekeeping systems, and hotel property management systems.
• 1 year: month-end and year-end close processes.
• 3 years: payroll processing and full-cycle accounts payable.

Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and payment approvals in AP.
• Process biweekly payroll, monitor timekeeping, deductions, and adjustments.
• Prepare AP accruals and reconcile payroll-related liabilities.
• Support month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations; improve controls.
• Respond to team member payroll inquiries and handle off-cycle checks.
