Hilton Waikiki Beach Resort & Spa in Honolulu, HI, is seeking a Full-Time Staff Accountant - Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist to join our team. You will manage payroll processing, AP workflows, and month-end accounting in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role requires attention to detail, integrity, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will support internal controls, prepare journal entries, and assist with audits while collaborating with a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Associates or higher in Finance preferred.
• 1 year month-end and year-end close experience.
• 3–5 years progressive accounting experience including payroll & AP.

Responsibilities

• Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and approval.
• Process biweekly payroll accurately and timely.
• Prepare AP accruals for month-end closing and reconcile payroll liabilities.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain internal controls.
• Prepare journal entries and support schedules; assist audits.
