Job summary

VanTran Industries, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting with emphasis on Accounts Payable and Fixed Asset accounting. You will help ensure accurate financial records, timely vendor payments, asset capitalization and depreciation tracking.

This role collaborates with operations, purchasing, and finance teams to maintain GAAP compliance and support month-end close, audits, and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent required.
• 3–6 years of general accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• NetSuite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries and perform monthly reconciliations.
• Support Accounts Payable processing and vendor payments.
• Maintain the fixed asset subledger, capitalization and depreciation tracking.
• Assist with year-end audits and financial reporting processes.
• Labor posting and related analyses.
