Job summary

Forgent Power is seeking a Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting with emphasis on AP and Fixed Asset accounting. You will ensure accurate records, timely vendor payments, asset capitalization and depreciation tracking, and help with month-end close.

The role requires organized, deadline-driven individuals who can work cross-functionally with operations, purchasing, and finance teams to maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• 3–6 years of general accounting experience; ideally in manufacturing.
• NetSuite experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support AP processing and vendor payment tracking.
• Maintain the fixed asset subledger; track depreciation.
• Prepare journal entries and month-end close.
• Reconcile accounts and assist with audits.
