Job summary

CDP Community, a Boston-based public benefit corporation, seeks a Staff Accountant to support accounts payable, expense reporting, and the full accounting cycle. You will work with the Finance team to ensure accurate invoicing, vendor management, and timely reporting while gaining exposure to billing, cash activity, reconciliations, and audits.

The role offers hands-on experience, cross-functional collaboration, and growth within the accounting function under the Senior Accountant.

Qualifications

• Experience with Sage Intacct, Bank of America CashPro and Expensify is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail in processing invoices and expense reports.
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations or audit support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Accounts Payable inbox and process invoices accurately and timely.
• Maintain vendor records and gather required documentation (W‑9s, ACH/remittance).
• Enter invoices into Sage Intacct and route for review and approval.
• Assist with Expensify and corporate card activity for monthly expense reports.
• Support monthly bank reconciliations and month-end close tasks.
• Collaborate with CDP departments and support internal controls improvements.
