Job summary

Continuum of St. Louis is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in Missouri. This role handles AP, AR, payroll processing, and reconciliations to keep financial records accurate and support daily operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of accounting experience, strong integrity, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will contribute to financial reporting and assist with audits across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Payroll processing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and vendor payments accurately and timely.
• Generate customer invoices and monitor accounts receivable aging.
• Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain payroll records.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile credit card transactions.
• Investigate discrepancies and support month-end reporting.
• Maintain organized records for audits and compliance.
