Job summary

Continuum Home Care Inc in Missouri is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role manages Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Processing, and account reconciliations while supporting daily business operations.

You will maintain accurate financial records, review transactions for accuracy, and collaborate with operations to ensure timely, correct reporting. Experience in healthcare or multi-location settings is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or payroll experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Payroll processing experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Review invoices for approvals and supporting documentation.
• Prepare ACH payments, checks, and electronic payments.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Monitor accounts payable aging and ensure timely payments.
